About

So the history has been written. The two-year old political start-up has reclaimed Delhi with a thumping majority. For a lot of analysts, it was restoration of democracy in India while others saw the beginning of reactionary democracy in India. Delhi showed that it can no more be fooled in the name of caste, religion or other petty considerations. This victory stands for the inaugural of positive and issue-based politics in India. The enormous oath ceremony held in the historical Ramlila Maidan reflected the aspirations that common man has from the new sarkar, and on the other hand Arvind Kejriwal’s words on Valentine’s Day reaffirmed AAP’s relationship status of deep commitment with Delhi. While the political pundits are busy analyzing the causes of this landslide win, AAP government has already started its journey towards fulfilling the electoral promises. Now the valid concern of a lot of us is the lack of opposition in the Delhi Assembly due to one-sided electorate mandate of Dilli’s junta. As Lord Acton said “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” And thus there is a constant fear of arrogance and power entering in the head of newly elected MLAs. So a few of us decided to start a daily blog to keep a strict watch on AAP government in Delhi. The idea is to play an active role in the democracy and explore the possibilities of alternative politics which was envisioned by Aam Aadmi Party. We would be humbled by your contribution in the form of suggestions or comments.

  1. My eyes have welled up with this blog. This is exactly the kind of governance we were expecting from AAP. I would also like to request AAP to put up their 70 point manifesto here as well and let us know what progress are being made or what is the status of each points. Kudos AAP Delhi !!!

    • Dear Kunal

Thank you for your words of praise & encouragement.

We would also like to clarify that this is not official blog of Aam Aadmi Party.
This is just an attempt from few common people like you to highlight the progress of AAP’s government in Delhi.

      Thanks

  3. Real Nice Work, but I guess, you blog will miss out your mass publicity if not corrected, though it is on facebook, but your team is actually missing out a major platform google+, some important AAP supporters AUTO – share feeds from google+ to facebook and twitter.
Some important pages on google+ which i auto share to facebook and twitter are:
    https://plus.google.com/115892408357741212072/posts
    https://plus.google.com/107735292341911639477/posts
    https://plus.google.com/+TheAapNewschannel
It is only because they are on google+ which makes these post gets auto shared daily to my fb and twitter, even if I don’t login to Google+ , facebook or twitter for weeks.
I recommend if you don’t want to put in extra effort to share on google+ page daily like facebook, I can help you with auto feature. But still you need to create a google+ page to do so.

and yes I know this is not an official AAP blog, but yes I wan’t to auto share your daily post on fb and twitter account so you guys need to create a google+ page and share your daily updates and daily diary entries.

Apologies about not responding to your earlier mail. We have been tied down with the work here.

We already have a Twitter handle @aapdelhidiary & FB Page with same name where we publish all the updates.

We are yet to consider the Google+. Thank you for taking an initiative by creating Google+ page for these updates.

Can you please share the page name with us?

  6. Hello,
Personally, I think the subtitle *Nothing official about it makes the new comer not to read further under the question ‘authenticity?’.
    I want to suggest some..
    *AAP in news..
    *AAP news record..
    *What journalists say..
    *What newspapers say..
Or anything else which doesn’t contain “no”..
    Thank you! 🙂

  8. You’re doing great guys, I was looking for such a consolidated & updated list of AAP works, and this page fulfills my requirement very well….!!! Keep it going….!!!

Btw, I keep on wondering, how easy/difficult/feasible will it be to have a TV news channel (or a Youtube channel) which showcases only AAP’s works? If such a channel already exists in your knowledge, please do let me know its details….

    Thanks & Regards,

Thanks a lot for writing to us and your words of appreciation. We are glad that you liked our work.

We are few AAP supporters like you who are managing this blog. This is not AAP’s official blog. We think it will not be an easy task to setup a TV news channel.
AAP already has a official YouTube channel. You can review the same.

      Thanks

  10. I’m a fan of Arvind and supporter of AAP. I use to posts related to AAP on facebook as much as possible. I do not use whatsapp and twitter. I want to know how can I publicize AAP more and more as media and opposition is trying to misguide people.

  11. very nice effort to document the works of AAP. question though ?
is everything kept impartial…. i mean does it highlight only the good, or the bad as well ?
i mean, it would be a shame to keep showing only one-sided information, that would make us behave like the supporters of other parties, right ?
also, can one comment on the posts and tag others, to encourage participation/awareness ?
